【摘要】:NPandOPhavebeenshowntohavetoxiceffectsinaquaticorganisms.ThesourceofNPandOPisprominentlyfromtheuseofcommoncommercialsurfactants.Themostwidelyusedsurfactantisnonylphenolethoxylate(NPEO)whichhasanaverageethoxylatechainlengthofnine.TheethoxylatechainisreadilybiodegradedtoformNP1EO,NP2EO,nonylphenolcarboxylate(NPEC)and,underanaerobicconditions,NP.NPwillalsobiodegrade,butmaybereleasedintoenvironmentalwatersdirectlyattracelevels.Thismethodhasbeeninvestigatedandisapplicableforenvironmentalwaters,includingseawater.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofnonylphenol(NP),nonylphenolethoxylate(NP1EO),nonylphenoldiethoxylate(NP2EO),andoctylphenol(OP),extractedfromwaterutilizingsolidphaseextraction(SPE),separatedusingliquidchromatography(LC)anddetectedwithtandemmassspectrometry(MS/MS).Thesecompoundsarequalitativelyandquantitativelydeterminedbythismethod.Thismethodadherestosinglereactionmonitoring(SRM)massspectrometry.1.2Themethoddetectionlimit(MDL)andreportinglimit(RL)forNP,NP1EO,NP2EO,andOParelistedinTable1.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.TABLE1MDLandReportingLimitsAnalyteMDLA(ng/L)ReportingRangeB(ng/L)NP
