【摘要】:Feltpapersforroofingandflooringareimportantintheconstructionindustry.Feltpaperswithdifferentendusepropertiescanbemade.Thekerosinenumberisarelativemeasureoftheamountofabituminoussaturantalotofsaturatinggradepaperiscapableofabsorbing,andisusefulinchoosingpapersforspecificlevelsofsaturationormanufactureintospecificendproducts.Generally,higherrelativekerosinenumbersbaseduponthistestmethodaredesirable.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherelativesaturatingcapacityoffeltpapersforroofingandflooring.1.2Theresultsarereportedintermsofthekerosinenumberofthesample.1.3Whiletheresultsreportedarenumerical,theyareusedonlyasarelativemeasureofthesaturatingcapacityoffeltpapers,andthistestmethodasgenerallyusedprovidesaqualitativemeanstodifferentiateandrankvariouspaperswhicharetobesubjectedtobituminoussaturation.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificwarningstatementsaregivenin10.5.
