【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportspecifiesalaboratorymethodofdeterminingthepentachlorophenolcontentofwood.ThemethodisapplicabletoalltypesofPCP-treatedwoodandwood-basedmaterialsaswellasfortheanalysisofwastetimberwithrespecttoitsPCPcontent.Themethodhasaquantificationlimitcorrespondingto100μgPCPperkilogramofwoodmaterialexpressedasdrymatter.ThemethoddescribedhasameasurementrangeuptoPCPcontentsof25mg/kgofdrymatter.Thesefiguresrefertothegivenexample(whereanaliquotof1mloftheextractisusedforacetylation,see8.4).NOTE1Iflowerquantificationlimitsarerequired,ahighervolumeofextractaliquotcanbeusedforderivatisation.NOTE2Thismethodcouldhavesomemodificationswithsomewoodspeciesashardwoods.
