【摘要】:ThispartofISO12989allowsthedeterminationbythermogravimetricanalysis(TGA)ofairreactivitiesanddustingofshapedcarbonelectrodesusedinthealuminium-reductionindustry.Manytypesofapparatusareavailable,withvariousthermalconditions,sample-sizecapabilities,materialsofconstructionandproceduresfordeterminingthemasslossandsubsequentrateofreaction.Thistestmethodstandardizesthevariablesofsampledimensions,reactiontimesandtemperatures,andprovidesamathematicalmethodtonormalizethegasvelocityovertheexposedsurfaces,suchthatresultsobtainedondifferenttypesofapparatusarecorrelatable.
