【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspost-appliedcoatings,pavings,andliningsforcorrugatedsteelpipeandcorrugatedsteelstructuralplatepipe,pipe-arches,andarchescoated,paved,orlinedwithspecifiedmaterialsovereithermetalliccoatingsormetalliccoatingswithpolymercoatings.Thisspecificationincludesasphalt,polymerizedasphalt,polymer,mastic,andemulsioncoatingsandasphaltandconcretepavementsandliningsappliedtothepipeintheproducingplant,aswellas,asphaltandmasticcoatingsappliedinthefield.Field-appliedconcretepavementsandliningsarecoveredbySpecificationA979/A979M.ThepipetowhichthecoatingsareappliedisdescribedinSpecificationsA760/A760M,A761/A761M,andA762/A762M.1.2Thereisnocleaningoperationcurrentlyincludedinpipecoatingpractice.However,experiencehasshownthatacleansubstrateprovidesgoodadherenceforbothcold-andhot-appliedpostcoatings.Theperformanceofpostcoatingorlining,orboth,willdependonthesurfacecleanlinessoverwhichitisapplied.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportions,Sections10and11,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
