【摘要】:Thistechnicalspecificationdescribestheimportanceofthechemicalcharacteristicsofsteamsuppliedtosteamturbinesandtheneedtopreventcorrosionanddepositioninsteamspace,inordertominimizetheriskofturbinecorrosionfailuresorlossofefficiencyoroutput.Thesignificanceofrelevantchemicalparameters,mostlyrelatedtoimpuritylevels,isdiscussedintermsoftypesofplantandchemistryoperatingregimes.Thisspecificationisapplicabletoturbinesofallelectricaloutputratingandanyexhaustcondition,i.e.condensingorbackpressure.However,therangeofapplicationintermsofoutputratingorsteampressureisdictatedbyeconomicfactorssuchastherelativecostofmonitoringequipmentandturbineplant.Itisdesignedfornewplant,butmaybeadaptedforuseonexistingplant.
