【摘要】:Thisstandardisapplicabletoheatshrinkablemouldedshapesinarangeofconfigurationsandmaterialssuitableforinsulation,environmentalsealing,mechanicalprotectionandstrainreliefforconnector/cableterminationsandmulti-waytransitions.Itspecifiesthedesignanddimensions,testmethods,materialrequirementsandcompatibilityperformance.ThemostcommonlyavailableshapesareasshowninAnnexA.Materialswhichconformtothisspecificationmeetestablishedlevelsofperformance.However,theselectionofamaterialbyauserforaspecificapplicationshouldbebasedontheactualrequirementsnecessaryforadequateperformanceinthatapplicationandnotbasedonthisspecificationalone.
